The Arboretum at the Linda Hall Library is one of the great gems in Kansas City.  Midwest GeoInfo did a complete GPS survey, built a GIS system, produced custom maps, and provided online exposure.

Urban Planning

Maps are integral to urban and regional planning.  Midwest GeoInfo's attention to data integrity, metadata, and cartography produces highly accurate and readable maps.
Transportation Planning

Past projects have included work for Mid-America Regional Council (MARC) on the Long Range Transportation Plan and the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) online map.  

Pedestrian movement (map at left) and traffic patterns have also been mapped for the National Park Service at the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park:

Natural Resource Mapping
The Roanoke Park Conservancy was awarded a TRIM grant from the MO Department of Conservation to do an i-Tree tree inventory.  The inventory will assist the Conservancy in their efforts to remove invasive species and improve park experiences.
